"A Memorial Day weekend washout is not in the forecast for most of the Northeast, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be some weather disruptions at times, especially in the mid-Atlantic, AccuWeather.com reports.

"A slight shift in the weather pattern is likely to take place, allowing some rain and stormy conditions to spread northward from the southern United States beginning Saturday."

Thursday, May 25 through Saturday, May 27 are expected to be sunny with a high near 75 but could feel chilly.

Sunday, May 28 and Memorial Day will be cloudy with a 40% and 50% chance of showers, respectively, according to the National Weather Service.
